As an artist, I paint in reaction to the ever changing environment and social changes around me. Powerful shapes and vibrant colors are the foundation of all my paintings, applied with a heavy hand to illustrate the intensity of my experiences.  Music is the anchor to my emotional connection to the canvas. When I paint and listen to music I fall into a rhythm that connects me to my feelings, ideals, and the canvas.  As I paint I unravel my past and present to get a glimpse of my future, and gain insight and encouragement from those that came before me. I paint my history, my life, my struggles, my triumphs…my art is me.
